New forest fire likely human-caused - Silvercity Daily Press

A forest fire in Catron County that started Monday is being investigated as being caused by people, according to the Gila National Forest. The Paradise Fire was reported about 7 p.m. Monday, 13 miles south of Quemado, and with dry and warm daytime conditions it rapidly grew.
