Major changes for drivers in the EU: introducing the digital licence, lowering the driving age and regular assessments
The European Commission has decided on a series of major changes to driving licences, which will also apply in Romania. The license will become digital, medical evaluations will be introduced before obtaining it, and the minimum age for professional drivers will decrease. The new rules are aimed at improving road safety and will need to be implemented in all Member States in the coming years.
