New downtown Alma credit union opens

After several months of renovations and building upgrades a new credit union is now open in downtown Alma. St. Johns-based Journey Federal Credit Union, which also has offices in Ovid and Fowler, received approval last year from the National Credit Union Administration to expand its charter, which now includes Gratiot, Isabella, Clare, Mecosta, Montcalm, Osceola, Shiawassee and Clinton counties.
