The federation representing Quebec's medical specialists says it's already taken steps to challenge the premier's special legislation tabled Friday morning to force through changes to the compensation model for doctors. Bill 2 was adopted into law just before 4 a.m. on Saturday.
"The last few months, including mediation, were only a vast masquerade," the specialist doctors denounce.
Vincent Marissal, Quebec's spokesperson on health issues, deplores François Legault's use of the threats of a special law.
