- On Wednesday, the Supreme Court directed the National Testing Agency to report on implementing reforms recommended by the Radhakrishnan Committee and the Nandan Nilekani committee for NEET examinations.
- Following a NEET-UG paper leak, the Ministry of Education established the seven-member Radhakrishnan Committee and a task force led by Infosys co-founder Nilekani to overhaul security protocols.
- Solicitor General Tushar Mehta detailed security measures including GPS-tracked vehicles and independent question bank moderators, describing the system as "foolproof" and difficult to breach.
- A bench of Justices P S Narasimha and Alok Aradhe requested that Mehta file a fresh affidavit detailing the progress of structural reforms in the examination process.
- The bench emphasized that systemic institutionalization is required to ensure consistency across examinations, noting that security must remain robust between consecutive exam cycles.
