NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar admitted to hospital in Pune after suffering from mild dehydration: Doctors.
Sharad Pawar, aged 85, is under medical supervision with intravenous fluids for mild dehydration and expected to be discharged after about two days, hospital officials said.
- Sunday’s admission of NCP president Sharad Pawar to Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune for mild dehydration was reported by PTI and ANI.
- Earlier this month, Pawar was treated at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune from February 9 to February 14 for chest infection and breathing difficulties.
- Under supervision from Dr Parvez Grant, Chief Cardiologist and Chairman and Managing Trustee, Ruby Hall Clinic, and Dr Abhijit Lodha, Consultant Physician, Ruby Hall Clinic, doctors began intravenous fluids and said he will remain in hospital for two days.
- Accompanied by his daughter Supriya Sule, NCP MP, and wife Pratibha Pawar, Sharad Pawar was advised rest for a few days and gradual resumption of duties, doctors said.
- The 85-year-old veteran leader has a notable medical history as an oral cancer survivor and was admitted on Sunday days after his nephew Ajit Pawar's plane crash death.
