Investigators have interviewed Ballmer, Kawhi Leonard and Clippers executives as the league nears a ruling on whether salary-cap rules were bypassed.
- On Wednesday, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said the investigation into the Los Angeles Clippers is "far along" and the league is "close to the point now where I think we need to wrap this up" for the organization and the other 29 teams.

- On Monday, Aspiration co-founder Joe Sanberg was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for wire fraud after prosecutors said he defrauded investors and lenders of $248 million.
- Should the league determine salary cap circumvention occurred, the Clippers could face fines up to $7.5 million, direct forfeiture of draft picks, and potential suspension for team personnel.
