NASA shifts SunRISE mission to SpaceX Falcon Heavy, drops Vulcan Centaur launch
NASA has moved its SunRISE mission from the ULA Vulcan Centaur rocket to a SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch, with an updated launch date yet to be announced. The mission’s six SmallSats will work together as a giant radio telescope to detect solar radio bursts that can provide early warning of harmful space weather events.
