How a competition between "carriers" of forbidden parcels in prison ended in bloodbath: "We said to shoot everyone"

A shooting, which resulted in two deaths and three injuries in November 2023 in Marseilles, is said to have resulted in fierce rivalry between two prisoners who are organizing deliveries of prohibited items to prisoners. Seven people are in custody in this case, including two minors suspected of being the shooters.

On a visit to Marseilles, Bruno Retailleau assured that these arrests were a "hard hit" for the network. A total of 170 investigators were mobilised.
