Nanticoke Harbor Reopened After Fuel Spill from Sunken Boat
Early Saturday morning the Nanticoke Harbor was closed after a small fuel spill was discovered in a sunken boat. County Executive Julie Giordano announced that officials closed the Harbor until cleanup operations were completed – the Harbor was reopened around 1pm. Emergency Services, Parks staff, local fire personnel and other agencies worked throughout the night Friday into Saturday to removed the sunken boat from the water.
