Myers fire burns 90 acres, forces evacuations near Hemet

A wildfire broke out near Hemet, forcing evacuations Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 3. The Myers fire broke out west of Hemet near Rose Road and Myers Street and grew to 90 acres as of about 3:20 p.m. with no containment, according to Cal Fire.
