Bandera Wachiyao Sentenced to 3 Years Imprisonment

The Senior Resident Magistrate’s Court in Mangochi has today sentenced popular Yao musician Bandera Wachiyao to three years imprisonment for unlawfully keeping a minor without parental consent. The court found Bandera guilty of the offence after a series of adjournments since his arrest on January 3, 2025.
