25-year-old man shot dead in central Israel, police suspect feud between rival families
The shooting followed two additional incidents that occurred over the weekend in Arab towns, in which a woman was murdered and a man was seriously wounded. 222 people from Arab Israeli society have been murdered so far this year
The young man was shot in the yard of his home last night and was rushed without a pulse to Shamir Assaf Harofeh Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police believe the shooting was the result of a conflict between criminal elements operating in the city. This is the 12th murder in the city since the beginning of the year. A total of 230 people have been murdered in Arab society since January - a wave of violence that has not stopped
The young man was shot in the Gan Hakal neighborhood and was taken to the hospital without a pulse – where he was pronounced dead. MDA paramedics performed prolonged CPR on him. The police opened an investigation and added: "The shooting was apparently carried out against the backdrop of a conflict in the Arab world."
