ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — First responders were called to a large fire that required multiple people to be rescued on Saturday. Around 5 a.m., Rockford Fire was called to the 1100 block of North Avenue for reports that a two-story home was on fire and residents were trapped inside.
