Multi-vehicle crash blocks Johns Island roadway

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Emergency crews are responding Tuesday morning to a multi-vehicle crash on Johns Island. St. John’s Fire District said the accident happened on Main Road just past the Limehouse Bridge as you are leaving the island toward West Ashley. All lanes were blocked as of 7:30 a.m., with emergency crews on scene. People are asked to find an alternative route.
