Mrs. Alice Ruth Lumpkin, age 97, of Rome, Georgia, sadly passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at a local nursing facility. Alice was born in Rome, Georgia on May 19, 1927, to the late Luther Burton Payton and Addie Frances Payton (formerly Pierce). She is also preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Lumpkin, as well as numerous brothers and sisters. Source
