Mount Pleasant police consider fining parents amid e-bike enforcement

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) - The Mount Pleasant Police Department may enforce harsher punishments amid growing safety concerns with e-bikes. According to MPPD, in the year to date e-bike enforcement statistics for July 2025, they had 38 incidents reports and 13 collisions.
