Motorcyclist (78) Dies After Losing Balance and Ending up Under Van
A 78-year-old man from Vleteren died on Friday afternoon after a traffic accident in Sint-Jacobs-Kapelle near Diksmuide. The man was riding his motorcycle along the IJzer when he suddenly lost his balance and was dragged several meters under a van. The man initially appeared to be conscious, but died from his injuries.
