Marc Marquez topped MotoGP World Championship Free Practice One (FP1) Friday morning at MotorLand Aragón, in Alcañiz, in Spain. Riding his Michelin-shod Lenovo Team Ducati Desmosedici GP26, the Spaniard turned a lap of 1:47.532 around the 3.15-mile (5.08 km) track and led the 22-rider field. Marc Marquez played the favourite role at the start of the training in Aragon and was ahead of Raul Fernandez and Marco Bezzecchi. Fabio Di Giannantonio and Pedro Acosta crashed, Jorge Martin far behind.
Marc Márquez did not use new tyres, but still led the MotoGP Frees 1 GP, over the Aprilia of Raúl Fernández and Marco Bezzecchi. Jorge Martín finished 18th.
