Hosts Morocco will play Sadio Mane's Senegal in this weekend's Africa Cup of Nations final after both emerged victorious in tense last-four ties on Wednesday as Mohamed Salah's dreams of winning the title were again dashed.

Morocco capitalised on home support to stay the course and beat Nigeria on penalties after 120 minutes produced no goals. They'll meet 2021 winners Senegal in the final, after the Lions of Teranga beat the Pharaoh's of Egypt 1-0 thanks to Sadio Mané's late strike from range. Morocco and Senegal will compete in the finals of the African Cup of Nations, after defeating Nigeria and Egypt respectively in the semifinals.
