Morningside University to Absorb St. Luke’s College

Morningside University in Iowa is absorbing nearby St. Luke’s College, officials announced. St. Luke’s, which is focused on nursing and other health-care professions, is part of Unity Point Health, a hospital system with locations in Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. It will merge with Morningside in a deal that is expected to be finalized in late 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
