- Health officials say 25 of 27 sick people were hospitalized and one pregnancy-associated illness caused fetal loss, with the most recent case reported Oct. 16.
- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and U.S. Department of Agriculture are investigating possible contamination in other foods and urge consumers who purchased recalled products to discard or return them immediately.
