Changing the track of the AOMC train at Monthey can move forward

The financing of the own site of the AOMC railway line (Aigle – Ollon – Monthey – Champéry) between Collombey-Muraz and Monthey was accepted on Thursday by the Grand Conseil Valaisan. The new route will serve the current CFF station of Monthey, while the station of Monthey-Ville will be abolished.

The securing of the AOMC (Aigle – Ollon – Monthey – Champéry) line between Collombey-Muraz and Monthey was approved, in a single reading, by the Valais Grand Council on Thursday. Parliament approved an investment grant of 22.74 million francs.
