Nick Fountain admitted to abusing a child he cared for over seven years and faces multiple sexual assault charges in Pennsylvania and Maryland, officials said.
- On Oct. 5, Nicholas A. Fountain, 38, was formally charged in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, with dozens of sex-crime counts, including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, prosecutors said.
- The investigation began on Sept. 24 after the victim reported the assaults to Pennsylvania State Police Skippack Barracks, saying abuse started at age 9 in 2016 and lasted until 16 in 2023.
- In an Oct. 4 interview, Fountain admitted to touching and sexually assaulting the victim, and charging documents say he exposed the victim to pornography and assaulted him repeatedly.
- He was arraigned and denied bail, remaining jailed pending prosecution; a preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 15 before Magisterial District Judge Adam Katzman, and Fountain waived Maryland extradition.
- Fountain, the board's vice chair for 12 years and owner of Magnolia Enrichment Center and Magnolia Children's Academy, faces Maryland charges from an undercover sting alleging solicitation of a 14-year-old, and the Skippack Township Board condemned the allegations, urging his resignation.
