Montcalm County park rules, ordinance return to committee
After more discussion, a proposed new Montcalm County parks ordinance, as well as updated park rules, will return to an ad-hoc committee for further review. This past November, commissioners voted to repeal a parks ordinance, which had been adopted in 1995, but hadn’t been used much, if at all, over the last 30 years until last summer, when a local Pride group rented out McCarthy Park in Montcalm Township.
