SINGAPORE, JUL 24 – The Ministry of Manpower is investigating a suspected fraudulent injury claim flagged by Jane Lee before her death, amid concerns over abuse of workplace injury compensation laws.

Non-governmental organisations say they have witnessed cases where low-wage migrant workers with genuine injuries were unable to get compensation.
