The Moldovan Electoral Commission slightly corrected the final result of Sunday's referendum on the country's approach to the EU. According to the latest data, 50.4 percent of voters supported the inclusion of EU membership as a strategic goal in the constitution, while 49.6 percent were against it.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen congratulated the Moldovan people on the outcome.
