- Delhi Police apprehended one suspect, identified as Asif, following an exchange of fire with officers. Police are continuing efforts to locate the remaining two suspects involved in the assault.
- Calling the incident "painful and worrying," Delhi Women Commission Chairperson Lata Gupta assured the victim's family of legal, counseling, and judicial assistance from The Delhi Commission.
