Minneapolis rejects new offer for Roof Depot site, dealing setback to urban farm project

Minneapolis city staff notified the East Phillips Neighborhood Institute on Wednesday it will reject the nonprofit's bid to purchase the former Roof Depot site for $10.2 million, saying EPNI does not have the funding in place to close on the property.
