Israel's foreign minister says it is closing British consulate in East Jerusalem
National Security Minister Ben-Gvir demanded Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu close the British Consulate in East Jerusalem on Wednesday, calling the closure a "resolute response to British audacity" following UK sanctions on West Bank settlements.
Foreign Minister Gideon announced that Britain's consulate in Eastern Jerusalem would be closed and British representatives at the Kyriat Gat Civil-Military Coordination Center expelled following Wednesday's sanctions against West Bank settlements.
