Milwaukee man pleads guilty for five counts of animal abuse

MILWAUKEE — A Milwaukee man has plead guilty to five counts of animal abuse. The charges come from a raid last August that revealed more than 50 deceased dogs in Michael Ellis’ home on Milwaukee’s north side. According the criminal complaint, a search of the home revealed 25 dead dogs on the first floor of the house, and 28 in the basement.
