The strong wind and rain storm that hit early Sunday morning caused significant damage to the Concepción del Uruguay racetrack. According to the facility, the gusts, which exceeded 60 kilometers per hour, caused millions in damage to various facilities on the property.
As reported by the Commission of the Autodrome, this morning there was the blasting of complete panels of floors 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the control tower. They reported the complete blasting and of the new office container of revenue collection, fall of cables, wires and generalised posts to the entire site.
