The Lebanese army said an officer and two soldiers were killed in an ammunition explosion on Sunday, days after a similar incident killed a soldier. The officer and two soldiers were killed and “a number of civilians were injured” in the explosion that hit an army vehicle carrying ammunition in Braikaa, Nabatieh province, the army said. Special forces are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
