- A militant leader identified as "Comedy" voluntarily disclosed to the Imo State Amnesty Committee the location of buried weapons, enabling the 34 Artillery Brigade to recover one AK-47 rifle and other ordnance.
- Troops of Sector 5, Operation UDO KA, recovered two General Purpose Machine Guns and one Improvised Explosive Device following a viral video by the Anambra Vigilante Group highlighting the operation.
- Military authorities assess the development will encourage other militant groups to voluntarily surrender illegal arms, while troops maintain operational pressure and monitor movements across the South-East to ensure lasting peace.
