NFL Coach, a Super Bowl Champion, Will Join NBC as Analyst

On Tuesday, former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin agreed to join NBC Sports as an analyst for "Sunday Night Football" pregame show and "Football Night in America."
Tomlin ended his 19-season tenure in January following a 30-6 wild-card playoff loss to the Houston Texans, extending the Steelers' postseason losing streak to seven games.
During his Pittsburgh tenure, Tomlin compiled a 193-114-2 regular-season record with a.628 winning percentage, capturing the Lombardi Trophy in 2008 at age 36.
NBC is restructuring its broadcast team to feature Tomlin alongside host Maria Taylor, former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett, and likely former NFL star Devin McCourty.
Former Steelers predecessor Bill Cowher set a precedent for this transition, joining CBS as a studio analyst in 2007 after resigning from Pittsburgh and never returning to coaching.
