Woman sentenced for $222K fraud against Mass. housing agency, SBA

A Florida woman was sentenced Monday in Boston federal court for defrauding a Massachusetts housing agency where she worked in 2022 and the U.S. Small Business Administration in connection with the pandemic Paycheck Protection Program, federal authorities said. Alihea Jones, 51, of Brandon, Florida, was sentenced to 10 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release, U.S. Attorney Leah B. Foley said.
