The ceremony of tribute to Queen Sirikit, began this Sunday, October 26 in Bangkok. The mother of the current monarch died Friday at the age of 93, victim of septicemia. In the country, kings and queens are perceived as semi-divinities and highly respected. This Sunday, thousands of Thais gathered along a 10-kilometre procession in the center of Bangkok to finish in front of the Grand Royal Palace where our correspondent went.
