The head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Cyril, sent an ilarion mytropolitan, who was suspected in the Czech Republic of drug trafficking, to serve in the Argentine-South American diocese.
Metropolitan Hilarion, who was detained by Czech authorities in May and released after two days, flew to Moscow, where he complained that he was being watched not only by the Czechs, but also possibly by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). He told the Russian state news agency TASS that two Ukrainian agents were allegedly in Karlovy Vary at the time of his detention. However, he did not provide any evidence.
The substance found last week in the car of the Metropolitan of the Czech branch of Metropolitan Illarion (Alfeev) of the Russian Orthodox Church turned out to be cocaine - this was confirmed by the results of the examination.
==History==Ilarion (in the world of Grigory Alfeyev), who until recently served in the Czech Republic, was transferred to the Argentine-South American Diocese of the RPC in Brazil, a decree issued on 3 June by the Patriarchs of Moscow and all of Rusi Cyril, reports the Moscow Patriarchate.
Russian Metropolitan Hilarion was carrying several grams of cocaine when he was stopped by police on the D6 highway. He is now being transferred from Karlovy Vary to Brazil.
