SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, JUL 31 – Meta plans to increase AI spending through 2026, with a $14.3 billion investment in Scale AI driving its strategy amid competition from other tech giants, Zuckerberg said.

Meta will channel between $66 billion and $72 billion into AI infrastructure in 2025, nearly doubling its prior year’s investment, according to its second-quarter earnings report released July 30.
