In an effort to fuel their data centres, Meta Platforms has signed multiple agreements with nuclear power plants to provide them with electricity. The social media giant will pre-pay for power from a 1.2-gigawatt development by Oklo and a 2.8-gigawatt project by TerraPower, facilities backed by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and billionaire Bill Gates, respectively.
