How to Ban Facebook & Co From AI Training with User Data

With public data of its users Meta wants to train the artificial intelligence (AI) Meta AI from 27 May. Those who are on Facebook or Instagram can object to this without justification. This is pointed out by the consumer center North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). The objection works via online form - and both on Facebook and Instagram only if you are logged in.

As of May 27, Meta will use public Facebook and Instagram content for AI development. Users must object by May 26, to protect their data. The objection is necessary for both platforms separately.
