Defender El Hadji Malick Diouf has left Slavia Prague for West Ham. The 20-year-old Senegalese has become the most expensive footballer ever to transfer from the Czech league. The London club announced on its website that it has signed Diouf on a multi-year contract. According to media reports, it paid more than half a billion crowns for him.
