The UNC men’s golf team won on home turf during the weekend, taking first place in the Tar Heel Intercollegiate at Finley Golf Club. Carolina’s David Ford also won first place on the individual leaderboard, tying a school record with his seventh career tournament win. Men’s Golf Wins First Tournament Title Since 2021 at Rutherford Intercollegiate - University of Delaware Athletics

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The University of Delaware men's golf team recorded consecutive under-par rounds on Saturday and Sunday on its way to its first tournament title since the 2021-22 season at the Rutherford Intercollegiate, hosted by Penn State. The Blue Hens carded a three-round team score of 3-under par 849, the fifth-best 54-hold score in program history. Play was held at the par-71, 7,130-yard Penn State Blue Course.
