A civilian police officer recognized a car that criminals allegedly used to assault him on Friday in the Mendoza city of Luján de Cuyo, shot the driver, who tried to escape and shot him in the head. The Fiscal Unit of Homicide and Institutional Violence of the Provincial Public Prosecutor's Office informed the agency Noticias Argentinas that the officer was approached by thieves who stole his statutory weapon and personal belongings.
