Memorial service to be held Oct. 19 for Elgin activist Danise Habun

A celebration of the life of Elgin activist Danise Habun will be held Sunday, Oct. 19, at Highland Avenue Church of the Brethren in Elgin, according to Congregation Kneseth Israel Rabbi Margaret Frisch Klein. Attendees are asked to gather at noon at the 783 Highland Ave. church, which is 15 minutes before the memorial begins, Klein said.
