2025 All-CIF San Diego Section softball team Player of the Year: Sophia Burmeister, Poway A senior catcher who is headed to Clemson, Burmeister is a repeat Player of the Year. The only other repeat winner in the San Diego Section was Lisa Dodd, who was a two-time winner in 2001 and ’02 at Mira Mesa before transferring to University City and winning again in 2003.
