Auditor general to release reports on greenhouse gases, coal exports, pesticides
Auditor General Karen Hogan plans to release reports assessing government progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and working toward a thermal coal export ban.
The reports will review pesticide risks, the Canadian Dental Care Plan, and management of the national emergency stockpile.
Other audits will examine anti-money-laundering work, military ammunition management, and the collection of customs duties and taxes.
Hogan will discuss the findings after the reports are tabled in the House of Commons, with ministers and opposition MPs expected to respond.
