Mayo Clinic adds robotic, tissue-preserving option for mastectomy patients

ROCHESTER — Mayo Clinic has added a surgical option for breast cancer patients at its Minnesota and Florida locations, the health system announced Friday, Jan. 30. The announcement follows the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's approval of a robotic nipple-sparing mastectomy procedure.
