Greyserman Tries Again to Win His First PGA Tour Event

On Friday, Max Greyserman shot an 8-under 63 to vault up the leaderboard, sitting 12-under 130 with a four-shot lead at the Baycurrent Classic at Yokohama Country Club.
Greyserman lost by one shot in Japan to Nico Echavarria and says, `I've been doing things well this week from the start and so I just need to keep doing what I'm doing,` as he seeks his first PGA Tour victory.
Xander Schauffele shot an even-par 71 on Thursday and said gusting winds slowed the course, while Collin Morikawa carded a 3-under 68 on Friday and Kazuki Higa finished with a 64, six strokes off the lead.
The leaderboard shows Greyserman four strokes clear of Alex Smalley, Xander Schauffele, and Alex Noren, with four others including defending champion Nico Echavarria five shots behind.
The Baycurrent Classic, which premiered in 2019 and was won by Tiger Woods, was moved this year to Yokohama, increasing its profile at Yokohama Country Club.
