Mauritius: Protests in Port-Louis to Raise Retirement Pension Age

In Mauritius, the artisans decided not to work this Monday, July 14th. Their association announces a dead day to protest against the reform of pensions. Since June 5th, the protest is alive on the island, against the rise of the retirement pension age. From this year, it will gradually increase from 60 to 65 years. The announcement has provoked a strong reaction among the trade unions and civil society in the island.
